She can often be seen instructing during our Little Rangers Classes, Junior Classes and Adult Classes, making adjustments on a student with a friendly smile and gently nudging the student’s form until it is exact. She teaches with attention to detail and a focus on proper fundamentals. As she continues her training, she enthusiastically dedicates her time to helping others to reach their goals and hopes to encourage and support those who are on a quest to be their best.

She enjoys competing in tournaments and is a member of both the RSKA Competition Team and the RSKA Demo Team.

On July 22, 2023, she achieved the rank of Shodan or 1st Degree Black Belt. She has worked hard, and we all look forward to seeing her develop further as both an instructor and as a martial artist. Miss Nguyen is currently preparing for and is scheduled to take the Nidan or 2nd Degree Black Belt Exam in 2025.

Miss Nguyen is a dedicated and loyal RSKA Black Belt. She participates in the RSKA Instructor Training Program and in addition to her karate training, she is an Ikkyu Brown Belt in our Judo/Jujitsu Program. Shihan Herbster has been a big influence on her as both a martial arts student and instructor.
